After losing my fiancé and dad to cancer during the pandemic, I have dedicated my life's work to lighting the way for thousands of people in the wake of their own loss and heartache. Through my platform, podcast, writing, and community engagement, I help grievers to not only survive their grief, but to thrive alongside it.

"Thank you so much for spreading awareness around grief. It's so refreshing to hear from someone who has been through similar experiences and validate all the shitty feelings, and explain things that is hard for me to explain myself. Your platform is so beautiful - thank you for doing what you do!" - Olivia
"You have the most magical gift of expressing all those raw and tender and often wonderful emotions that grief uncovers. The way you write is often the way I feel." - Grace
"Thank you. Your words have really affected me. It's comforting to know that someone is going through a similar experience, as unfortunate as that is. Thank you for articulating my thoughts and feelings so eloquently, and for making me feel a little less lonely." - Nat
"Finding your page was a blessing. I find myself unable to put what I'm feeling into words and I often resonate with yours.
Thank you for sharing your journey - you have helped me in more ways you can know." - Kitty
"I just wanted to say, thanks so much for your honesty and integrity. I've been following to help find answers and even words for a friend who lost her partner to a tragic accident and your guidance in grief is really helpful." - Laura

From the moment Lotte first met Ben, she knew they were meant to be together. And for a few years, their life was truly idyllic: flourishing careers, adored friends, and travel to every corner of the planet. But when Ben was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Lotte was catapulted into the uncharted landscape of cancer medicine, becoming his caregiver overnight. With the world around them in lockdown, they refused to give up the fight for his survival, travelling from London to Mexico in hope of a cure at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
When Ben lost his life, many miles from home, Lotte found herself asking: how do you see what the future looks like―without the person you love most in it?
"Profound pain melds with profound hope in Bittersweet, Lotte Bowser’s beautiful debut. A work of staggering grace, this book reveals Bowser’s gift for communicating both the hellish enormity of her grief alongside her capacity to reach for shards of meaning in the most agonising of times. Sure to be a balm for those grasping for an anchor in the raw days of early loss."
- Women's Health
"Bittersweet is so beautifully visceral; as the reader, you feel as though you are living in the pages, your heart simultaneously bursting and breaking. This is a story tackling all the areas we hate to discuss but so desperately need to - illness, healthcare systems, death, grief - and how love is the soft embrace that will pull us through. The ultimate book about what it is to be human."
